Walking in shadows

''Face'',
A mask that changes!
''Eyes'',
The gates to one's soul!

The wise You,
Need no mask to see,
The wise You choose,
The soul.
Clear eyes on a face.

Will you see them - my eyes,
Or perhaps the face,
Even if, I look hideous ?
A Quasimodo of an island.
Not of Notre Dame!
A hunchback !
What say thee?

Will you see them - my eyes,
Or perhaps the face,
Even if, I was a Zeus,
A judged Cheater !
Constantly unfaithful to a Hera!
A modern day Henry the VIII !
What say thee?

Will you see them - my eyes,
Or perhaps the face,
Even if, we may cross paths or not ?
Swim in caranal waves or not ?
Sit by a brewing coffee or not ?
What say thee ?

Will you see them - my eyes,
Or perhaps the face,
Even if,The Cover says something
The book says otherwise ?
Content written in oceans of tears
Shed blood and sweat,
Of a tested human.
Who walks in shadows,
Preferring to be a secret,
Not a gossip of a wine talk !
Nor a soul owned!
What say thee?
